It’s almost my birthday, and coincidentally, just over a year since I’ve been marketing myself as The Williamsburg Seamster, though I’ve been sewing much longer than a year. In fact, I think I can honestly say more than half of my life has been spent sewing as opposed to not! Cool?!
Anyway, birthday weekend celebrations/guests in town/existing client work sets me back a bit, which means I will not be beginning any new projects until June 4th. But if you have something that needs to be urgently repaired, maybe I can squeeze you in…
Also, just thinking- if you have a friend with a birthday coming up, (and I’m sure you do- there are a ton of May/June babies!), why not get them a gift certificate. Maybe he/she is always complaining about having clothing that doesn’t fit or is ripped up. Or maybe you just plain don’t like the way they’ve been dressing and think they need a tune up! Most likely, though, you just aren’t sure what to get them and this is not only a very useful gift card (better than s*bucks, c’mon!) but it supports local, indie business and is pretty unique!
